Where are you going?

It is a cliché that life is about the journey and not the destination, and whilst I believe that to be true I also believe that we must keep one eye on the trajectory of our journey - otherwise how will we know if we are taking the right steps in order to get to where we want to be.
This can be done very easily, for example, I always ask my Clients to focus their priorities into a wishlist prior to their consultation. Approximately a year later they review their wishlist to see what has manifested for them and then they are encouraged to continue the process annually thereafter. This simple task can not only help them attract what they would like in their life (in the same way you can be thinking of a friend or a relative and then you unexpectedly bump into them), but it can also provide milestones along the way that allow them to achieve their overall goal. For example: my client might expect to be happily married with children at some point in the future, for most people this would start by first of all finding the right partner, then building a life together and finally welcoming children into their lives. For an annual wishlist it might be unreasonable to expect all of that to manifest at once, but, in my opinion, a focus on the steps involved each year will more likely lead to success.
My journey so far has led me to being a Feng Shui Consultant, Feng Shui is the analysis and influence of the interaction between people, buildings and the environment to enhance quality of life.
A small part of the service I provide involves placing a Bagua (a Feng Shui template) over the floor plans of a house to determine which of the 9 Life Areas are represented by which part of the house. One of these life areas is actually called Life’s Journey, and by enhancing this area in our homes we can improve not only our journey through life but also our career which is a heavily intertwined part of our journey and it is often a priority for my clients.
It is another cliché that every journey begins with a single step, if you are not sure what the next step might be for you right now and you are interested in trying something new then please contact me to find out more about my journey and how Feng Shui can benefit you on your personal journey.
